Pililia is a sleepy town on the edge of the province in Rizal. Nothing happens there. As in nothing. The nearest Jollibee or McDonald’s is at Tanay, the next town over. And when we go there, going to Jollibee or McDonalds is the highlight of our stay.
But change has come.
Because of extensive studies on its viability, on Pililia rose a 54 megawatts windfarm. There are 27 windmills this side of Rizal that you no longer have to go to the edge of Luzon to see Bangui’s windmills. You don’t have to drive 12 hours to can get your token windmills shot. Like this.
Spaghetti strap short dress, colorful undergarments, an actual photo, bagets. I do not recognize that person anymore. 2009 was definitely a different time.
Now, you can drive a short 2 hours east of Manila, and IG the shiz out of them windmills.
